  • Sessions are 50 minutes and may involve talk therapy, somatic awareness, and guided reflection. You’ll be supported in exploring what matters most to you, at a pace that feels right.

  • The short answer is regularly. I can suggest what would make sense, but often it’s having a session every week or every two weeks to start. The regular, consistent attendance of therapy ensures we get and keep the momentum and effectiveness of the therapeutic work.

  • Psychotherapy sessions are typically $180–$200 depending on the therapist and session length. Ceremony pricing varies based on the package but is typically around $150-200 per session hour. See our service offerings and fees.

  • We offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots for those with financial need. Please reach out to discuss availability.

  • Invoices for Psychotherapy: We provide invoices for psychotherapy sessions, which you may submit independently to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. All sessions are facilitated by licensed Registered Psychotherapists and Canadian Certified Counselors, which are typically insurance-eligible. While we assist clients in navigating coverage, we strongly recommend confirming your benefits with your insurance provider before booking a session.

Ethical Considerations: We believe in the profound and often sacred nature of these experiences, which transcends traditional medical labels. As Registered Psychotherapists, we are committed to honoring the integrity of your experiences without reducing them to clinical diagnoses, which are not within our scope of practice.

  • Due to the unique nature of psychedelic therapy, our scheduling and payment processes are specifically designed to ensure a seamless treatment experience:

Initial Sessions: To secure your dates, payment is required when booking your initial sessions.

Psychedelic Therapy Series: Full payment is needed to reserve your series dates. This helps in coordinating effectively with our team and scheduling all sessions consecutively, which is crucial due to the intensive nature of the treatment.

Payment Plans: We offer payment plans for ongoing sessions and to assist those with financial constraints.

  • In Ontario, the act of psychotherapy is controlled by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). A Registered Psychotherapist is a psychotherapist who is a registrant of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Only practitioners who are licensed by the CRPO are permitted to use the title of ‘Registered Psychotherapist (R.P.)’.

  • At Eleusium, all psychedelic experiences begin with a careful intake and preparation process. For clients in our psychotherapy practice, we explore your goals and assess whether a cannabis ceremony is appropriate and supportive for your healing. If you're already working with a therapist, we can offer adjunctive support, provided you complete our screening process and meet health and safety criteria.

Cannabis ceremonies are not a replacement for psychotherapy or medical treatment. We do not provide, sell, or promote cannabis; all participants are responsible for obtaining their own supply. Ceremonies are guided for harm reduction, education, and integration purposes and are only offered when clinically appropriate and ethically aligned.

What about if I’m interested in medicines other than cannabis?

Eleusium does not provide, promote, or facilitate access to any psychedelic substances. However, we take a harm reduction approach and offer preparation and integration support to individuals choosing to engage in psychedelic experiences independently.

Our role is to help you stay grounded, reduce potential risks, and make meaningful use of your experience. All support is non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and focused on safety, education, and integration.

Please note: This work is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical care, and all clients must complete an intake to ensure it is appropriate and safe for them to participate.

  • Yes, when used intentionally, in the right setting, and with the right dose and terpene profile, cannabis can absolutely be psychedelic.

While many people associate cannabis with relaxation or recreation, in the right dose, set, and setting, it can induce deep emotional journeys, expanded states of consciousness, and even visionary or mystical experiences.

Part of what makes cannabis so versatile is its chemistry. Higher levels of THC (the primary psychoactive compound) are often associated with more expansive, altered states—especially when combined with specific terpenes like myrcene (which enhances absorption and dream-like states) or limonene (which adds clarity and uplift). The terpene profile plays a huge role in shaping the feel of the experience. More on this can be found in our Psychedelic Cannabis resource.

What matters is how you approach it. Ceremony, intention, and a supportive container can transform cannabis from casual use into a powerful psychedelic ally. Eleusium does not guarantee specific outcomes, as every individual’s experience is unique and personal.

  • During your journey, we’re holding space with grounded, attuned presence. We’re not leading, interpreting, or analyzing, we’re simply here to support the unfolding of your process.

    This means we’re:

    • Maintaining a calm, centered energy in the space

    • Attending to your emotional and somatic cues

    • Offering gentle support when needed (verbal prompts, grounding touch—with consent)

    • Supporting you to explore your inner terrain deeply

Many of our clients have shared that the facilitator’s presence helps them access inner places they might not have reached on their own. There’s something powerful about being witnessed and gently supported in states that are otherwise hard to navigate alone.

We’re not doing the work for you—we’re holding the container so that you can go where your psyche is ready to take you.

  • All sessions within a psychedelic cannabis series are scheduled at once. This approach prevents interruptions in treatment that can occur if sessions were to be booked individually, ensuring continuity and stability in your therapeutic journey.

  • Standard Sessions (50 minutes): A 48-hour notice is required for rescheduling or cancellation to receive a refund.

Extended Psychedelic Sessions (5+ hours): Due to the extensive preparation involved and the difficulty in rescheduling, a two-week notice is necessary to reschedule or cancel these sessions. We kindly ask for your cooperation to provide as much notice as possible to accommodate our guides and staff.

By adhering to these guidelines, we aim to provide the most effective and uninterrupted care possible for our clients.

  • At Eleusium, we deeply respect the diverse cultures and traditions that inspire our practices. We acknowledge that many cultures have long used entheogens and sacred medicine in their spiritual and healing practices. However, we want to make it clear that we are not claiming to represent any specific culture or Indigenous traditions or practices.

Our approach is non-dogmatic and rooted in earth-based traditions. We believe in honoring the origins and significance of all traditions, and we strive to engage with them respectfully and mindfully. Our goal is to create a space that supports healing and growth without appropriating or misrepresenting any culture. We are committed to continually learning and reflecting on how we can best serve our community while upholding these values.
